It is safe to say that George Clooney and Amal Clooney are one of our favorite couples. Their meet-cute story is adorable<\/a> and still to this day, George still cannot stop gushing<\/a> about his gorgeous wife. The couple’s home life during lockdown appeared to be pretty wholesome too according to a new interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of The Tender Bar\u00a0<\/em>(which George directed) the actor and filmmaker admitted that lockdown was “fine” with two children. The couple share four-year-old twins, daughter Ella and son Alexander.<\/p>\n

“You just feel so bad for the world and all of that, you know? But our kids are four and they were two-and-a-half when it started so you know, they weren’t missing out on much out in the world,” he told the outlet. “So, you know, I didn’t have to teach them trigonometry at home.”<\/p>\n

Amal chimed in noting that her husband was a great “teacher”.<\/p>\n

“He’s mainly teaching pranks for the time being,” the 43-year-old explained. “But we’ll see if it develops.”<\/p>\n

George replied, “Well, I think those can really pay off over time.”<\/p>\n

On a more serious note, the human rights lawyer said she was “lucky” to have such a “supportive partner”. “It’s probably like many families where both parents work,” she said. “I’m lucky because I have a very supportive partner. And we do move around a lot, but we manage it, and I feel very lucky.”<\/p>\n

The couple married in 2014, before welcoming the twins in 2017. George was previously married to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 and remained Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor after he vowed never to marry again. That was until Amal entered the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got engaged after a few months and got married within the first year that we met.
