Who doesn’t love a mother-daughter red carpet moment? Especially one as sweet as Angelina Jolie and her 16-year-old daughter Zahara. The duo attended Variety<\/em>‘s glamorous Power of Women event in Beverly Hills last night. The event payed “tribute to women trailblazers, philanthropists, poets, rule-breakers and so much more,” and alongside Jolie and her daughter, there were some other big names present.<\/p>\n

Jolie wore a dark beige dress to the event, with a half-turtleneck neckline that hit the floor just right. The dress was sewn out of a ruffled fabric that almost resembles something you would see on Little House on the Prairie<\/em>, but in the chicest way possible. Conservative in nature, it was a contemporary, elegant twist on a vintage aesthetic. She paired the outfit with a bold red lip and dark brown eye.<\/p>\n

Zahara on the other hand opted to wear a white pantsuit, contrasting her mother. The pantsuit had a quarter-length sleeve and featured a thick belt around the waist, shaping the garment. She wore a pair of small but elegant pearl earrings that complimented the look beautifully. Name a better looking duo.<\/p>\n

Other notable names in attendance were poet laureate Amanda Gorman, who was the poet at President Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony. Gorman, alongside Katy Perry, Channing Dungey, Lorde and Rita Moreno were nominated for the Power of Women award, celebrating the philanthropic endeavors of each.<\/p>\n

Jolie was there to present an award, and took Zahara along with her as a plus one. The trio all posed for a photo-op before the event on the red carpet — an iconic photo to say the least.<\/p>\n
