Quarantine has seen us take on a myriad creative pursuits: baking banana bread, planting herbs, cultivating sourdough starter… Taylor Swift even wrote and recorded an entire album<\/a>. But for model Bella Hadid<\/a>, she’s taking to perfecting the art of avant-garde eyeliner, specifically in the shape of a butterfly.<\/p>\n

Bella uploaded an Instagram post captioned: “500 days of Quarantine. May 19th # made my face a canvas on one of the many days I felt completely useless … will prob delete later\ud83d\udc98 . using\u00a0@diormakeup<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

The look was actually incredible – a black liner butterfly wing extending from her temples to the inside of her eyes with a pink shade dusted in between. It was sharp and detailed – famed makeup artist Sam Visser<\/a> even commented “Happiness is a butterfly.”<\/p>\n

Bella explained she used Dior Makeup, unsurprising as she’s the face of the brand. If we had to take a guess, we’d say she used the Diorshow Onstage Liner in Vinyl Black<\/a> to map out the delicate wing shape, and a Diorshow Five Couleurs Eye Palette<\/a> to fill the center.<\/p>\n

It’s not the first glimpse into Bella’s life during quarantine. The model has been sharing moments spent at the Hadid family farm in Pennsylvania, including lavender planting, isolation fashion looks, DIY photoshoots and the showering of her pregnant sister<\/a>, Gigi.<\/p>\n
