Thankfully for you and I (and anyone begging for new content in lockdown), it&#8217;s the latter. Overnight <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/lady-chatterlys-lover-netflix-emma-corrin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Netflix<\/a> released the official teaser trailer to <em>Don&#8217;t Look Up\u00a0<\/em>which features a whole lot of star-studded names. Oscar-winner <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/camila-morrone-leonardo-dicaprio-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/jennifer-lawrence-reacts-bennifer-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> will lead an impressive cast for Adam McKay\u2019s new dooms day film.<\/p>\n<p>The forthcoming projects follows DiCaprio and Lawrence, two astronomers who embark on a press tour to warn the world of an approaching asteroid. According to\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/news\/biggest-movie-star-salaries-daniel-craig-dwayne-johnson-1235043305\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Variety<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the A-listers didn&#8217;t come cheap with DiCaprio earning $30 million USD for the film while Lawrence earnined $25 million USD.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/movies\/leonardo-dicaprio-jennifer-lawrence-ariana-grande-meryl-streep-appear-in-dont-look-up-teaser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">People<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>on the film, DiCaprio said of the writer and director McKay,\u00a0 &#8220;I knew when I read his script that it was incredibly unique, as it struck an important chord concerning the modern world we live in. Just imagine the red carpet moments with\u00a0<em>this\u00a0<\/em>cast.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2020, Streep described the film as &#8220;eerie&#8221; given the current political climate. She said it is \u201cabout a global catastrophe, but it\u2019s sort of funny, like \u2018Dr. Strangelove\u2019 for 2020, about global warming \u2014 a metaphor for that.
