The first celebrity sightings out of New York Fashion Week 2021 are upon us, and slowly but surely, we’re getting sneak peeks into what people are wearing and what shows they’re attending. Last night’s shows included American designer Christian Siriano’s Spring\/Summer 2022 collection, and a few big names showed up to Gotham Hall, dressed in an array of their own style.<\/p>\n

Lil’ Kim wins the most bold look of the night, wearing a little dress with big personality. The garment featured large rose arrangements around the shoulders and hips, with solid black appliqu\u00e9s keeping its shape. She accessorized with a pair of black heels and a snatched-back braid that hit the floor as she walked down the show’s red carpet.<\/p>\n

To her right sat actress Katie Holmes, who wore a black, gridded power suit while she posed with Siriano himself in a backstage shoot. The suit featured a low-cut neckline and bell-bottomed pants. The entire garment was overlaid with a silver-gray grid pattern that broke up the otherwise one-tone ensemble.<\/p>\n

Other notable names in attendance were Aquaria, winner of season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race<\/em>, broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth and actress Busy Philipps. Each brought with them their own take on what to wear to the Siriano show, but each retaining a unique sense of casual yet fashionable outfits, with short dresses and wide-legged pants appearing as trendy accompaniments.<\/p>\n

As more and more celebrity appearances start to role out, we’ll start to get a better sense of what NYFW 2021 will look like, what trends to look out for and what designers are bringing to the table.
