While most of us are getting made up with less frequency lately, there is still something so satisfying about watching someone effectively apply their own \u2013 especially when that someone is Selena Gomez<\/a>. In a new video<\/a>, the singer has revealed her current going-out makeup routine and while it might sound intricate \u2013 yes, there’s winged liner involved \u2013 the Rare Beauty founder makes it seem oh-so-easy.<\/p>\n

She begins by prepping the skin with Sephora Collection Eye Masks<\/a> ($3.50) and applying a layer of Tatcha’s The Dewy Serum<\/a> ($88).\u00a0 “I have to wash my face before I apply makeup \u2013 it bothers me, I just need to have a clean canvas to start,” she explains, before applying her Rare Beauty primer. Gomez founded the brand last year, and it recently launched in Australia<\/a> at Sephora \u2013 so lucky for us, we can emulate the entire look.<\/p>\n

Next Gomez applies her base, using her Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation<\/a> ($29). “A little goes a long way, and I like to do a circular motion when I’m putting on my foundation,” she says, dotting the product around her face, before buffing it in with a brush to “get in every corner” of her complexion.\u00a0 While she admits that she once loved wearing lots of makeup, she feels “sexier” with less now. “You don’t need it to look beautiful, because you already are beautiful,” she says.<\/p>\n
