I can now say I’ve lived long enough to see trends come full circle. While I’m still in mental denial that low-rise jeans<\/a> have made their menacing rise yet again, some trends I’m happy to see return, while others I would rather jump from a bridge than ever participate in again. High blush applicatio<\/a>n? Absolutely. Thin, emaciated eyebrows<\/a>? No, why?! The latest trend to make its miraculous return is colored mascara, re-popularized where? You guessed it: TikTok.<\/p>\n

While this trend may be new to Gen Z, makeup artists for years have used it as a lifehack to brighten the whites of your eyes and enhance their natural color. Of course, there are a few tips to remember when it comes to wearing colored mascara \u2014 your eye color and skin color will impact how the color shows up on your face.
