In July, the Cannes Film Festival<\/a> symbolized the return of red carpets after a slew of cancelled events in 2020. Now, the Venice International Film Festival has finally returned to the Italian city in all its glitz and glamorous glory. The sartorial gong was struck upon the arrival of Penelope Cruz<\/a> who served not one, but three incredible Chanel looks. Barbara Palvin was also in attendance with her incredible hair and make up pulling focus.<\/p>\n

Old Hollywood glamour was on full display on the opening evening of the event as was lots <\/em>of sequins. Helen Mirren<\/a> looked mermaid-esque\u00a0<\/em>in a glittering turquoise gown, former Victoria’s Secret angel Adriana Lima wore red and Cynthia Erivo<\/a> appeared in a gown which featured a daring thigh-hight split.<\/p>\n

If this is just the prelude to ten days of red carpet style, we’re not worthy. Oh red carpets, we’ve missed you!<\/p>\n
