The show is set to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on September 12. Doja is also up for five awards including Artist Of The Year and Video Of The Year for her song &#8220;Kiss Me More,&#8221; featuring SZA, and will be performing during the event.<\/p>\n<p>A first time awards show host, Doja has been known to bring her personality to these types of events. I mean who could forget the black mullet and olive-green ostrich feather dress?<\/p>\n<p>Doja posted the announcement on Instagram to her 13.8 million followers. The advertisement was full of neon pinks and yellow and had the artist floating in space, which may or may not give an inkling towards the aesthetic of her show. It would make sense for her to have a space-age theme in tribute to her hit album, <em>Planet Her<\/em>, released in June of this year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m hosting the 2021\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/explore\/tags\/vmas\/\"class=\" xil3i\"  target=\"_blank\">#VMAs<\/a> this year Wowowowowowow,&#8221;
