The holidays are rapidly approaching! To speed up the process, MAC Cosmetics<\/a> just unveiled its limited-edition Frosted Firework collection<\/a>. The line celebrates glimmer, shimmer, and shine \u2014 and naturally, the products are next-level Instagrammable.<\/p>\n

Inspired by “the fairytale of surprise, delight, and ambient beauty of fireworks,” the 20-piece collection consists of frosted pink-packaged products for eyes, lips, and face. More specifically, the Frosted Firework lineup consists of five shades of eyeshadow, five lipsticks, five lip glosses (AKA glasses)<\/em>, three dual-ended eyeliner pencils, and two shades of highlighter.<\/p>\n

The whole color collection will be available for purchase starting Thursday, October 15. Right now, select products from the collection are available on the brand’s website exclusively for MAC Lovers (the brand’s free loyalty program<\/a>) and Pro Members (more on that here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

According to NYC-based makeup artist Michelle Clark<\/a>, the holiday collection’s eye-catching shades take inspiration from this season’s runway trends. “Metal has been a dominant trend backstage this season, from washes of shimmer-highlighted skin to fully loaded amber eyeshadow or even gold-foiled baroque details,” says the pro.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, the holiday collection’s shade names don’t disappoint. Once Bitten, Ice Shy, and Snow in Love are just two examples of the brand’s on-theme wittiness.<\/p>\n

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a holiday collection without a lineup of drool-worthy gift sets to go along with the line. In total, there will be a casual 25 to choose from, the first part of which launches on October 15. Unfortunately, you’ll have to not-so-patiently wait for another drop of holiday kits. But we have a feeling the wait will be worth it.<\/p>\n

Two of our favorites that can’t go unmentioned include the Surefire Hit Mini Lipstick Vault<\/a> ($75) and the Rocket to Fame Eyeshadow Palette<\/a> ($40). Another product we’re anxiously awaiting the launch of the brand’s annual holiday advent calendar, which is the best possible gift you could ever give to a makeup lover.<\/p>\n
