Jessica Chastain<\/a> wowed fans when the first trailer dropped for her upcoming biopic, The Eyes of Tammy Faye<\/em>, but it turns out that the heavy prosthetic make-up has taken a major toll on her skin. So much so, she believes “permanent damage” has been done.<\/p>\n

“I think for sure I\u2019ve done some permanent damage to my skin on this,\u201d she told the Los Angeles Times<\/a>,<\/em> admitting that her usual skincare routine was not good enough to handle the heavy make-up that often took over seven hours to apply.<\/p>\n

“The longest [in the chair] was actually 7 1\/2 hours. And I got to set and I was so panicky. Started to have hot flashes because it\u2019s so heavy and hot. Was afraid. It was like going on a long-distance flight every day because if it takes 7 1\/2 hours to put on, it\u2019s going to take at least two hours to get off,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n
