Wes Anderson’s long and illustrious career has firmly cemented the creative as a cinematic genius. The American filmmaker just recently appeared at the Cannes Film Festival<\/a> to premiere his latest project, The French Dispatch\u00a0<\/em>(with Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet in bathtub<\/a>, need we say more?). Now it seems the director is on a roll and has already commenced production on a new film.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Anderson’s eccentric film style and resum\u00e9 of awards, he tends to attract some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Over the course of the week, more and more actors have been added to the all-star cast including Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the trio will join Anderson’s usual lineup of talent – Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton – with plot details of the film kept tightly under wraps. Production has already begun and is expected to finish in late September. Just in time for the theatrical release of\u00a0The French Dispatch –\u00a0<\/em>Anderson’s first release since 2018.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see Johansson’s role in the upcoming film since it was just confirmed the actress is expecting with Colin Jost<\/a>. Johansson is also currently involved in a fiery legal battle with Disney.<\/a><\/p>\n

As for Robbie, it appears the actress will be very busy over the next 12 months. In addition to her role in Anderson’s project,\u00a0The Wolf of Wall Street\u00a0<\/em>star is expected to join Olivia Wilde and fellow Australian actress, Phoebe Tonkin in the upcoming Babylon<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>film. She just wrapped up promo for The Suicide Squad <\/em>where she stars as DC anti-hero, Harley Quinn.<\/p>\n

It begs the question as to why Robbie thought it was “downhill” from here. Speaking with Fox News<\/em><\/a> earlier this month she revealed her worries of the future. \u201cHonestly, this keeps me up at night, this very question,\u201d Robbie told the publication. \u201cI feel like I have peaked and maybe it\u2019s all downhill from here. Maybe I\u2019m at the top and it can\u2019t get any better.\u201d<\/p>\n
