Known for their renowned collection of hair and body care products, OUAI (pronounced “way”), founded by celebrity stylist Jen Atkin, is set to release an iconic line of candles inspired by the scents we know and love from the company.<\/p>\n

Made from a soy and coconut-based wax, OUAI Candles provide a 55-hour burn without diminishing scents. Confirmed best-selling scents at this time include North Bondi and Melrose Place. As is on par with the OUAI brand, each scent is inspired by the cities around the world that they love, and bring a little sense of travel to your home, even as you’re cooped up inside.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2016 by Atkin, OUAI has brought with it a line of hair and body care products coveted by every day people and celebrities alike. Named after the Parisian expression for “yes,” OUAI wants you to say yes to their key testaments, being better IRL than on Instagram, letting go of unrealistic expectations and embracing imperfections.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get it. I am an overstimulated consumer myself. I\u2019ve used every hair product on the market and spent years talking to my clients and social followers about their hair. I\u2019ve struggled to find a haircare brand that my friends and I could relate to,” Atkin said on the company’s website<\/a>. “It was my goal to take these conversations and create the first socially-connected haircare brand.”<\/p>\n

OUAI offers a wide range of products on their website, from haircare, fragrances, soaps and other skincare as well as a line of athletic wear and other brand merchandise. The candles are set to be retailed at $44 and are to be released in early September 2021. An exact launch date has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
