In <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/spike-lee-cannes-pink-suit\/\">Spike Lee<\/a>\u2019s new four-part documentary series, the Oscar winning director takes a look at just what makes the Big Apple so great by focusing not on the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/susanne-bartsch-new-york\/\">nightlife<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/nyfw-fashion-calendar-spring-2022\/\">fashion<\/a>, not on <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/broadway-reopens-september\/\">Broadway<\/a> or Wall Street, but on the city\u2019s resilience in the face of unspeakable tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>As the title suggests, <em>NYC Epicenters: 9\/11 \u2192 2021 \u00bd<\/em> centers two flashpoints in the city\u2019s\u2014not to mention the country\u2019s\u2014recent history: the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the COVID-19 pandemic, both of which devastated New York.
