Kate Middleton<\/a> is, by all accounts, a tastemaker. Any time she goes anywhere wearing anything, there are dozens of blogs and Instagram accounts dedicated to breaking down and citing every detail of what she’s rocking that day. It even trickles down to the royal babies, with fans begging to know what Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte<\/a> are wearing to school. She was voted the coolest woman in England for a reason \u2014 whatever she touches turns to gold. (Is that something that comes with being a member of the Royal family? Asking for me.) But there’s been one question fans have been begging to get the answer to for years:<\/p>\n

What does Kate Middleton\u00a0smell<\/em> like?<\/p>\n

Our culture’s fascination with how celebrities smell has been reignited with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis and Jake Gyllenhaal and Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard all coming forward to talk about their approach to cleanliness (or lackthereof.) Top that all off with Rihanna finally moving into the fragrance space<\/a> and, it’s no surprise we’re all wondering what the original celebrities, the royals, are giving off in the scent department. According to Susan Kelley, founder of What Kate Wore,<\/a> a blog chronicalng every single thing the Duchess of Cambridge wears on her body, including her scent, Middleton’s fragrance of choice is Orange Blossom by Jo Malone.<\/p>\n

The scent, which boasts notes of clementine flower, white lilac, water lily, and orriswood, is Middleton’s choice for daily wear, and rumors abound that this was the room scent at her 2011 wedding to Prince William. “I\u2019ve seen people on social media who have bumped into Kate when she\u2019s out shopping and have said she smells amazing, like raspberry and fruit\u2014very clean, crisp smells,” shared Kelley.<\/p>\n

Of course, you won’t find Middleton wearing Orange Blossom at official royal events \u2014 royals are typically expected to be fragance-free out of respect for those they are meeting with. But that doesn’t mean she can’t smell like heaven daily \u2014 and now, you can too.<\/p>\n
