Dear readers, a fun fact about me: At one point in my life, I truly thought I was going to be a sommelier. It was a blip on the radar of my career dreams in the long run, but as an endlessly curious person, I want to understand and break down as many things to the molecular level in order to understand and appreciate them better. (Probably why I’m a beauty writer, ya know?) But I also have gone on record<\/a> about the kinds of wine I hate, and I know that basically disqualified me for doing anything but drinking too much of it at home. But it’s fine: I can get my wine kick elsewhere too, as one of my new favorite brands, Vacation \u2014 the people behind the World’s Best Smelling Sunscreen<\/a> \u2014 have combined wine and sunscreen with their new SPF 30 Chardonnay Oil. And no, it’s not like when everything gets mixed around in your beach bag after a long day. This is so, so much better.<\/p>\n

Why? Because the oil is made of Champagne.<\/p>\n

… Okay, Champagne seeds, but the point remains: Finally, we can slather ourselves in champagne, and not just in the darkness of a nightclub on a Saturday night anymore! Vacation’s SPF 30 Chardonnay Oil is a broad-spectrum SPF<\/a> that both protects, nourishes, and hydrates the skin with ingredients like Marula and passionfruit oils. But the hero ingredient here is their Chardonnay Grape Seed Oil, which is a by-product of the champagne industry. (DoesOn e this count as upcycling? In my book, yes.) It’s a lightweight oil that goes on full clear and transparent on all skin tones, while also giving you a glow like Halle Berry<\/a> on the red carpet. To top it all off, they’ve capitalized further on the Champagne element by adding a scent the brand has called “Grand Cru ’86,” inspired by the thrill of popping a bottle or two.<\/p>\n
