As<em> New York Times <\/em>critic Lindsay Zoladz writes in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/08\/02\/arts\/music\/billie-eilish-happier-than-ever-review.html\" target=\"_blank\">review<\/a> of <em>Happier Than Ever<\/em>, \u201c\u2018Male Fantasy\u2019 shocks not because of its casual mentions of pornography and body image issues, but for how completely Eilish lets her ever-present emotional armor fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The clip is the second in her series for Vevo, following \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/billie-eilish-finneas-your-power\/\">Your Power<\/a>.\u201d As in the previous performance, Eilish is joined once again by her brother and collaborator Finneas, who strums his acoustic guitar and lends vocal harmonies from across the room.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish is just the latest artist to collaborate with Vevo for the streaming platform\u2019s Official Live Performance series. Recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/ariana-grande-pov-vevo\/\">Ariana Grande<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/weeknd-dawn-coming\/\">The Weeknd<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/balenciaga-fall-winter-2021-campaign-justin-bieber-isabelle-huppert\/\">Justin Bieber<\/a> have all created unique environments in which to perform live versions of their music. For her videos, Eilish seems to be sticking with the same warm, muted, neutral color palette as the album art for <em>Happier Than Ever<\/em> and her own self-directed official <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/billie-eilish-your-power\/\">music videos<\/a> for the album\u2019s recent singles. The atmosphere is intimate, the perfect setting for her introspective new songs.
