Having one person in a relationship with a demanding work schedule is hard enough, but when you have two, plus a newborn baby in the mix, things are no doubt near impossible.\u00a0<\/span>For Jenna Dewan, who gave birth to her and her ex-husband Channing Tatum\u2019s daughter Everly (now 8) in 2013, the reality of having to continue working while Tatum was away on set for the first few months of becoming a mother was \u201creally hard.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In a new interview on the podcast <\/span>Dear Gabby<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Dewan revealed that in the weeks following Everly\u2019s birth, Tatum couldn’t be with the family for some time due to his work schedule. <\/span>“I had to travel with her and at the time, Chan wasn’t available to be with us for the most part. So, it was me, my doula, and Evie all by ourselves travelling at six weeks,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dewan noted working in Everly\u2019s early months was “really hard,” especially as she was on set for “long hours.” The result left her with postpartum anxiety. “<\/span>I did have her on set with me constantly. It was just really difficult,” she said, adding she <\/span>suffered from “a lot of postpartum anxiety.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“It was like, I just never stopped. You know, you’re up a couple times in the night and then you’re working all day,” she recalled. “I was breastfeeding, I was pumping, I was without a partner, I mean it was just craziness.”<\/span><\/p>\n
