A chic, sustainable “pillow”<\/em> inspired clutch? Sign me up! Not only are the bags incredibly smart and tactile, but they’re bags made with intention, through a sustainable lens. The collection is made almost entirely from recycled ocean plastic, sustainable viscose fibers, and recycled threads. “It\u2019s important for me to combine form and function, so that every bag is practical and attractive. As well as both timeless and fashionable” <\/span><\/em>says <\/span>Chylak founder & creative director,\u00a0<\/span>Zofia Chylak. The collection takes its name from the the Moir\u00e9 fabric\u2014<\/i>known for its ripple effect and wave like appearance\u2014which is a\u00a0technique dating back to weavers and artisans of Ancient Egypt.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2014 in Warsaw, Poland, by trained art historian and designer Zofia Chylak, Chylak specializes in crafting affordable luxe, bags and accessories from the highest quality fabrics and hardware. The bags are made in Poland with the highest attention to detail and craftsmanship with every piece hand-stamped with a gold serial number. With an offering of 9 versatile styles of bags and accessories (the line includes a smart detachable collar as well),the Moir\u00e9 Collection is understated ethical luxury at its best\u2013with\u00a0a specific style for just about everyone we might add.
