Former US President Barack Obama has revealed the music artists he is listening to this American summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the past few months, I\u2019ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer \u2013\u2013 including songs from some of the artists performing at this week\u2019s @DemConvention,\u201d he wrote on social media on Monday. \u201cAs always, it’s a mix of genres that travels through various eras. I think there’s something in here for everybody\u2013\u2013hope you enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n

And, just like Phoebe Waller-Bridge\u2019s Fleabag <\/em>was one of Obama\u2019s favorite television shows<\/a>, there\u2019s a few surprises in the mix like Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and the late Mac Miller. But I guess, the more we have gotten to know the Obamas outside the White House, the more we understand that they do indeed enjoy dancing. (I would have been dead had the 59-year-old Democratic leader listed Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s \u201cWAP.\u201d)<\/p>\n

Obama also starred the artists who will be performing at the 2020 Democratic National Convention which begins on August 20. These include Billie Eilish, Leon Bridges, The Chicks (formerly the Dixie Chicks), John Legend, Common, Billy Porter, Maggie Rogers and Jennifer Hudson.<\/p>\n
