Jamie Lee Curtis has revealed that her youngest child is transgender. Ruby, 25, is a gaming editor and Jamie shared that her daughter is engaged and will marry in 2022 with Jamie officiating.<\/p>\n

Jamie shared that she and husband Christopher Guest “have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby”, acknowledging that they have “shed old ideas” of the notions of gender.<\/p>\n

“And she and her fianc\u00e9 will get married next year at a wedding that I will officiate.” Jamie told AARP.<\/a><\/p>\n

Jamie and Christopher are also parents to 34-year-old Annie who is a dance instructor, and Jamie joked that although neither of her children have children “yet”, she hopes to become a grandmother.<\/p>\n

Both Annie and Ruby were adopted by Jamie and Christopher, who married in 1984. The award-winning actress has previously revealed they battled infertility issues that meant “adoption was the only way for us to have a family”.<\/p>\n
