With projects such as Being Serena (2018), Venus and Serena (2013)\u00a0<\/em>and a brand new documentary<\/a> set to be released soon, it feels as though Venus and Serena Williams<\/a> are the nation’s big sisters. But when it comes to their father and legendary tennis coach, Richard Williams, his story is yet to be fully discovered. That is, until now.<\/p>\n

Today, Warner Bros. released the first trailer to\u00a0King Richard,\u00a0<\/em>a film that follows the journey of an undeterred father, instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time. Who can fill the impossibly large shoes of the sports figure? Two-time Oscar nominee, Will Smith, of course. The Pursuit of Happyness\u00a0<\/em>star will appear alongside Saniyaa Sidney (\u201cHidden Figures,\u201d \u201cFences\u201d) as Venus Williams and Demi Singleton (\u201cGodfather of Harlem\u201d) as Serena Williams.<\/p>\n
