There is no set rule on what kind of person a Bond Girl can be. She could be an ally or even\u00a0an enemy of Bond, pivotal to a mission or simply there for eye candy.<\/p>\n<p>Ursula Andress, as Honey Ryder, in 1962\u2019s <em>Dr. No<\/em> is widely regarded as the first Bond Girl, although she was preceded by both Eunice Gayson as Sylvia Trench and Zena Marshall as Miss Taro in the same film.The 1964 flick <em>Goldfinger<\/em>, the series\u2019 third, established the regular appearance of the Bond Girl in hit franchise. More recently, actresses such as L\u00e9a Seydoux, Halle Berry and Naomie Harris have modernized what it means to be a Bond Girl.<\/p>\n<p>One element that has remained consistent among these silver screen starlets is their exquisite sense of style. Fashion has undoubtedly played a supporting role in every Bond film, reflecting each title\u2019s time, setting and tone.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at some of the brands and designers that\u00a0Bond Girls to life in the modern era.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jany Temime<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3141\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/10\/JB-Skyfall-1.jpg\" alt=\"Jany Temime Skyfall Film\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jany\u00a0Temime is known for reinventing the look of the Bond Girl. Involved with the film\u2019s\u00a0<em>Skyfall<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Spectre<\/em>, Temime&#8217;s work was specifically centered around adjusting the Bond Girl&#8217;s appearance to modern society&#8217;s idea of femininity, as well as making their outfits more functional. One of the most stunning looks she created was a black sparkling gown for S\u00e9v\u00e9rine, played by B\u00e9r\u00e9nice Marlohe, opposite Daniel Craig\u2019s Bond in <em>Skyfall<\/em>. An accomplice to the 2012 film\u2019s villain, the character is known for being decked out in intricate tattoo work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew I wanted to create a bespoke crystal \u2018Tattoo\u2019 design for\u00a0S\u00e9v\u00e9rine\u2019s\u00a0dress,\u201d said\u00a0Temime. \u201cWe applied the crystal tattoos, with over 60,000 Swarovski Elements, onto very fine tulle for the arms, neckline, back and sides of the dress accentuating\u00a0S\u00e9v\u00e9rine\u2019s\u00a0exquisite figure.<\/p>\n<p>Marlohe told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamesbondlifestyle.com\/news\/interview-b%C3%A9r%C3%A9nice-marlohe\" target=\"_blank\">Bond Lifestyle<\/a> that she was part of the creation process of the dress and wanted to create an animal-like or &#8216;dragonesque&#8217; look for S\u00e9v\u00e9rine, with her long dark nails and impressive appearance in the casino scene. The ensemble was complete with custom Swarovski jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes.<\/p>\n<p>For her work on the film,\u00a0Temime received a 2013\u00a0Costume Designers Guild Award.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Wakeley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3142\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2020\/10\/JB-Skyfall-2.jpg\" alt=\"Amanda Wakley Skyfall Film\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Amanda Wakeley created\u00a0a number of looks for the 2012 James Bond film\u00a0<em>Skyfall<\/em>. After working as a model, the British designer launched her signature line in 1990.\u00a0Wakeley, who\u00a0became known for\u00a0styling the late Princess Diana, was a natural fit to design for the\u00a0femme fatales.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The wardrobe designer Jany Temime approached us and selected a number of our autumn\/winter 2011-12 dresses,\u201d\u00a0Wakeley told\u00a0<em>British Vogue<\/em>. \u201cSince much of the film takes place in London, I think that Jany was interested in working with an iconic London designer. We could have designed something special for the movie, but when Jany and I looked through the collection together, there were a number of dresses that really seemed to fit the brief.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Most memorably, Naomie Harris, who plays undercover agent Eve Moneypenny, wears a yellow satin bias cut floor-length gown by Wakeley in an action-packed casino scene. On screen, even Craig<span data-contrast=\"none\">\u2019s Bond<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> compliments the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">character<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0on<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> the dress.
