In today’s cute news, Anna Faris and her partner of four years, cinematographer Michael Barrett, have tied the knot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified,<\/em> the actress revealed that she and Barrett secretly eloped at a courthouse in Washington State recently. Not only did the public not know about the wedding until now, but neither did the pair’s respective families\u2014both of whom found out after the pair were already man and wife.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During a conversation with a caller on this week\u2019s episode, Faris said, “I’m looking around.. my fianc\u00e9’s right\u2014he’s now my husband. Yes, we eloped.” Faris then acknowledged her husband might not have been expecting the news to go public just yet by adding, “I’m sorry, honey. I just blurted that out, but it just feels like I can’t say ‘fianc\u00e9’ anymore.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Though Faris didn\u2019t give many more details about her special day, she did say, “It was awesome, yeah, it was great,\u201d adding, “It was at a local courthouse up in Washington State.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Faris added the couple’s families found out in a similar, unplanned way. “We saw my family, and it kind of slipped out the same way,” she said. “My aunt asked me, ‘You are going to be a stepmum [referencing Barrett’s two children]. How are you feeling about that?’ and I said, ‘Well, actually, I am a stepmum as of like four days ago, but it was great.’ Everything about it just felt right.”<\/span><\/p>\n
