High off the heyday of his introspective rap album\u00a0Call Me If You Get Lost,\u00a0<\/em>Tyler, the Creator<\/a> is offering us another venture into his kaleidoscope of creativity. Marked by his satirical trollish humor, the 30-year-old megastar is displaying his comedic expertise in a new advertisement for Converse under his direction.<\/p>\n

The two-minute video, a short focusing on the classic Chuck 70, revolves around “The Really Cool Converse Club” and features some\u00a0really cool<\/em> guest stars. With comedians Tim Meadows and Henry Rollins playing leading roles while Vince Staples makes a welcomed cameo, the set takes place at the club’s latest deliberation in an empty auditorium. The meeting opens and closes with the club \u2014 a mixed ensemble of soccer moms, pirates, greasers, skateboarders and more \u2014 revoking the membership of Meadow’s character for breaking the club’s most consequential rules: sporting a<\/em> denim hat<\/em>.<\/p>\n
