We love a Queen who knows what she wants!<\/p>\n<p>The pair confirmed in December 2019 that they were married, and now Joshua has shared details of the day Jodie asked for his hand in marriage.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She asked me, yeah, on New Year&#8217;s Eve. We were in Nicaragua. It was very beautiful, incredibly romantic,&#8221; he shared while on The Jimmy Fallon Show. &#8220;We were walking down the beach, and she asked me to marry her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He went on to share that &#8220;there was like a preamble,&#8221; but that he did not know the proposal was coming.<br \/>\nHe then joked that &#8220;she was quite adamant, and she was right,&#8221; and added: &#8220;This is the best choice I ever made.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30189\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30189\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-30189\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/07\/JOSH-JACKSON-JODIE-TURNER.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"740\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30189\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Getty<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Josh previously dated his <em>Dawson&#8217;s Creek<\/em> co-star Katie Holmes and then <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/diane-krugar-speaks-for-the-first-time-since-break-up-with-joshua-jackson\/\">dated Diane Kruger for ten years<\/a> before they split. He wed the Queen &amp; Slim actress in 2019 and in April 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/jodie-turner-smith-and-joshua-jackson-welcome-their-first-child\/\">they welcomed a baby girl, Janie.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Joshua will next be seen in the Peacock drama <em>Dr. Death,<\/em> based on the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a Texan doctor whose patients were left disabled or dead after he operated on them.
