I always get excited when I hear about a Tommy Hilfiger collaboration. The American designer has partnered with iconic names like Zendaya and Gigi Hadid on not only fashionable garments but memorable moments (I think about the GigixTommy circus about once a month.) So naturally, when there was news of a new Hilfiger collaboration I couldn’t help but check it out. For his latest capsule collection, Hilfiger teams up with POSE breakout actor Indya Moore.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’re a fan of the TV series, like myself, you know Indya Moore’s character, Angel Evangelista is the fashion it-girl with a closet to back it up. Not only is Moore a fashion icon on-screen and IRL (Still not over their NYFW debut for Jason Wu<\/a> last September) but they are a vocal advocate for diversity and trans rights<\/a>. So it makes perfect sense that the collection would focus on celebrating the diversity and uniqueness of the world and believing great style knows no boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the polo shirt to the Oxford button-down, bandeau top, and pin-stripe blazer, each style was inspired by a signature piece from the Tommy Hilfiger archive and reimagined to respect multiple gender expressions. The Hilfiger collaboration titled\u00a0<\/span>TommyXIndya<\/span><\/em>\u00a0nodes to Moore’s life story<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Moore’s initials in collegiate font adorn some of the looks while their hometown of the Bronx spelled across varying pieces<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The duo encourages continuous self-expression, fluidity, and exploration with a range of size-inclusive(XXS-XXXL) and non-gendered pieces which include features such as widened shoulders and adaptable silhouettes. For the campaign, Moore poses alongside fellow changemakers and activists Gia Love, Corey Walker, Chella Man, and Pidgeon who all represent diverse backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n
