After a year of quarantine, there is one thing we can all agree on this summer: we are going to be outside. And while summer in the city has its allure, trading in the congestion and stagnant air of city life for wide open spaces and green pastures of upstate can be just what the doctor ordered for reemergence.<\/p>\n

There can be a lot of apprehension when it comes to dressing for the outdoors. There’s a misconception that you have to sacrifice style in favor of function but that’s not always the case. Brands like Marine Serre and Prada have gravitated towards the practicality of clothing for outdoor wear in their collections. Opting for durable and more outdoor friendly fabrics like gabardine and nylon and showcasing accessories like carabiners and water bottle holders, fashion has embraced and adapted to nature rather than trying to ignore it.
