If you’re anything like me, you’re fascinated with how celebrities seem to do it all. Yes, they have teams and assistants and all of that, but it just seems like they magically just *poof* and all of their to-do lists are done, allowing them time to just… exist. Talking with actress Alycia Denbnam-Carey, I couldn’t help but feel envious of her Australian coolness<\/a>\u2014the easy-breezy way of going through life. As the face of philosophy<\/a>‘s amazing grace fragrance, it’s no surprise that she manages to do it all with, you guessed it, some amazing grace. For nearly six years, Debnam-Carey has starred on Fear the Walking Dead<\/em>, and she takes the opposite of a zombie-like approach to her daily routine.<\/p>\n

We here at GRAZIA asked her to break down everything she does from dawn to dusk, so you can envy her, too.<\/p>\n

What time do you wake up on an average day, and what\u2019s the first thing you do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every day is quite different for me, so my wake-up time varies depending on what I\u2019m doing that day, especially if I\u2019m working. However, I am not a morning person, so if I get the chance to sleep in, I will be sleeping in. I try to get out of bed before 9:00AM but I\u2019d be lying if I didn\u2019t say it\u2019s more likely around 10:30AM. The first thing I do is look at my phone, regrettably, brush my teeth and then go make coffee.<\/p>\n

Can you walk us through your morning skincare routine?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I first use The Method: Lancer Cleanser<\/a> in the morning and towel dry, followed by a spritz of Caudalie Beauty Elixir<\/a>. I next apply Glossier\u2019s Super Glow<\/a> vitamin C + magnesium serum and Dior\u2019s Plump Filler serum<\/a> for the hyaluronic acid. I finish with Kiehl\u2019s Ultra Facial Cream<\/a> moisturizer and Glossier\u2019s Bubblewrap<\/a> eye cream. I massage everything into my face with a jade roller<\/a> I\u2019ve kept in the fridge, which gets everything nice and sculpted. Finally, a daily sunscreen \u2013 right now I have been trying the Sonrei 50 SPF<\/a> daily sunscreen. It\u2019s reef safe and smells so good.<\/p>\n

Can you walk us through your typical morning makeup and hair routine?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My makeup routine is pretty simple if I\u2019m not working. I use the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer<\/a> everywhere I need it, Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Contour Skinstick<\/a> in Amber, Benefit HOOLA Lite<\/a> bronzer, eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills<\/a>, and Glossier\u2019s Boy Brow<\/a> in clear. I use Tower 28 clear highlighter<\/a> on all the high points of the face, then I use Glossier\u2019s Lash Slick<\/a> mascara, and finish with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat<\/a> in Pillow Talk and a slick of Fenty Pro Kiss\u2019r Balm<\/a>. Super glowy, simple, and fresh. Hair is simple for me too. I use a heat curling iron every five or so days, which tames it and holds a nice shape if I\u2019m using dry shampoo, which for me is Klorane.<\/p>\n

What is your go-to fragrance and why?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

philosophy amazing grace<\/a> is my go-to fragrance whenever I want something super clean, fresh and feminine. It always refreshes and resets me during the day. I even take it to set so I can reset during a long day of work. The amazing grace fragrance is celebrating its 25th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary this year, which is so wonderful and a testament to how versatile and enduring philosophy\u2019s products are.<\/p>\n

How do you apply your fragrance?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m someone who applies fragrance consistently throughout the day. My objective is to always smell good. But one trick I love is spraying my fragrance on fresh, out-of-the-dryer\u00a0laundry. So when I spray philosophy amazing grace on my bedsheets, everything smells so clean and fresh.<\/p>\n
