During an appearance on\u00a0The\u00a0Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em> this week, Mindy Kaling announced some huge personal news: that she’d given birth to her second child, a baby boy, last month.<\/p>\n

Kaling, who managed to keep her pregnancy a secret for the entire nine months – and an extra month after that – said, “I’m telling it for the first time now, it feels so strange. But I gave birth to a baby boy on September 3,” noting that her announcement is “news to a lot of people.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kaling, who is also mom to a 2-year-old daughter, Katherine, revealed her newborn son’s name is Spencer. Similarly, Katherine’s December 2017 birth was a bit of a surprise to fans and she’s chosen not to reveal the father’s identity publicly.<\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, I heard a rumor via the celebrity gossip account @DeuxMoi<\/a> that a famous Hollywood A-lister had been pregnant and had given birth, but the public was none the wiser. The anonymous DM shared to the account alleged that the celebrity had taken a whole lot of content prior to showing her baby bump, and was posting it throughout the whole pregnancy to throw the public off the scent.<\/p>\n

Sounds familiar…<\/p>\n
