Which means it&#8217;s time to do <em>all<\/em> the things: be outside looking cute at the functions, park dates, stay on the couch binging watch <em>Harry Potter <\/em>\u2014 guilty! \u2014 or give in to your cheat meal desires with that Shack Burger but most importantly it means its new music Friday. Some of our favorite artists have released a bevy of musical offerings. From the emo-punk musings of Willow Smith to the extraterrestrial pop-rap of Doja Cat, there&#8217;s something here for everybody <em>and<\/em> every mood.<\/p>\n<p>Below we take a look at some of the fire tunes we&#8217;re going to enjoy all weekend:<\/p>\n<h3>Doja Cat<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s finally here and we are freaking out! We can finally book a space shuttle to <em>Planet Her <\/em>and get a feel for the universe the pop-rapper has dreamt up. The 14-track album is full of multi-genre bops and features cameos from some of the industry&#8217;s biggest names like <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/ariana-grande-pov-vevo\/\">Ariana Grande,<\/a> The Weeknd and Young Thug. As seen last year through her many interpretations of &#8220;Say So<em>,&#8221;<\/em> this album shows <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/david-lachapelle-iconic-photos\/\">Doja<\/a> in her element \u2014 effortlessly blending sonics and genres to create her own universe of pop-rap. <em>Planet Her<\/em> finds Doja completely in a lane that&#8217;s all hers. She&#8217;s the new rap princess and we are all just honored to be invited to the coronation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our fav tracks: <\/strong><em>&#8220;Get Into It (Yuh)&#8221;, &#8220;Naked&#8221;, &#8220;Payday&#8221;, &#8220;Been Like This&#8221;, &#8220;Ain&#8217;t Sh*t&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_27718\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-27718\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignfull -width\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-27718 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/06\/PHCD_02af7478-73a4-4b6c-b3f7-779e820723f1.png\" alt=\"New Music Friday\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-27718\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Planet Her. Photography by David LaChapelle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Along with the release of her highly anticipated \u2014 emphasis on <em>highly<\/em> \u2014 sophomore album, the galactic, pop rapstress released the next visual in her <em>Planet Her<\/em> universe, the music video to her next single <em>&#8220;You Right.&#8221;<\/em> Featuring fellow pop-star <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/weeknd-grammys\/\">The Weeknd<\/a>, the visual shows Doja as a Grecian goddess decked out in a custom <a href=\"https:\/\/chrishabanajewelry.com\" target=\"_blank\">CHRISHABANA<\/a> look (complete with some stunning hair art in the shape of the Libra zodiac sign) roaming around her &#8220;Mount Olympus&#8221; grounds before being sent down to earth by a celestial deity, played by The Weeknd. (There&#8217;s also a Rick Owens alabaster bed cameo \u2014and hey, what can we say, we love good furniture over here.)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Doja Cat, The Weeknd - You Right (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JXgV1rXUoME?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/feliciathegoat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tyler, The Creator<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Tyler, The Creator&#8217;s 6th studio album, <em>Call Me If You Get Lost,<\/em>\u00a0is out today and masterfully curates sonics that only he could assemble. Much like his prior work, songs on his latest album, read like mini mixtapes themselves \u2014 switching in and out of various sounds and styles effortlessly. <em>Call Me If You Get Lost<\/em> is the follow-up to his 2019 Grammy award\u00a0winning album\u00a0<em>IGOR <\/em>and features an all star roster of rap&#8217;s best: Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Pharrell, 42 Dugg, DJ Drama, Ty Dolla $ign, Domo Genesis, and NBA YoungBoy as well as voice overs from cultural figure Jay Versace and DJ Drama with his iconic <em>\u201c<\/em>Gangsta Grillz<em>\u201d<\/em> tag. The album cover seems to pull inspiration from rapper Ol&#8217; Dirty Bastard&#8217;s 1995 debut album <em>Return<\/em> to the <em>36 Chambers<\/em>: The <em>Dirty<\/em> <em>Version<\/em> cover. I mean it only makes sense, with her mother, actress-singer <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/willow-smith-mothers-day-tribute\/\">Jada Pinkett Smith<\/a>, being a veteran rock singer herself with her early aughts, nu-metal band, Wicked Wisdom. Fresh off her hit, angsty punk single, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6M0IO4fyRoc\" target=\"_blank\"><em>&#8220;<\/em>Transparent Soul<em>&#8220;<\/em><\/a>, Smith is back again to deliver another pop-rock anthem. <em>&#8220;<\/em>Lipstick<em>&#8220;<\/em> fits in perfectly to the pop-punk, Flyleaf meets Fefe Dobson era she&#8217;s about to give the girls. Her fifth studio album, <em>Lately I Feel Everything,<\/em> is set for release on July 16. Skye&#8217;s fifth studio album, <em>Space and Time<\/em>, is an 11-song record jam packed with ethereal sounds, cute alternative R&amp;B jams and flawless production, courtesy of THE Timbaland.<em> &#8220;It&#8217;s my time now, and nobody can tell me any different,&#8221;<\/em> Skye says in her <em>Space and Time<\/em> documentary and we couldn&#8217;t agree more. This album sees the singer-songwriter coming into her own. It&#8217;s the makings of an emerging rnb-pop princess. Sullivan&#8217;s pen game is something of legend, masterfully weaving millennial stories of love, sex, situationships, pain, breakups and empowerment.
