It\u2019s been seven years since Australian model Miranda Kerr and English actor Orlando Bloom separated. In that time, they have proven over and over again to be the pin-up parents for co-parents, remaining wonderfully amicable in the interest of their shared son Flynn, 9.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a relationship even Katy Perry \u2013 Bloom\u2019s current partner \u2013 has commented on. \u201c[Miranda and Orlando have done] an incredible job raising [Flynn]… he\u2019s just so sweet and gentle, and that is a product of his parents for sure,\u201d she said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kerr, 37 \u2013 who is now married to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, 30, and has two sons with him, Hart and Myles \u2013 congratulated Perry and Bloom on the birth of their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom yesterday.<\/p>\n

While the model and beauty mogul liked her ex-husband\u2019s Instagram post, she made the effort to especially comment on Perry\u2019s. \u201cI\u2019m so happy for you guys. Can\u2019t wait to meet her,\u201d Kerr wrote, accompanied by the love heart, rainbow and thank you emojis.<\/p>\n

Perry and Bloom \u2013 who are both Goodwill ambassadors \u2013 decided to announce their daughter\u2019s arrival by setting up a UNICEF donation page on behalf of their daughter and re-gramming UNICEF\u2019s post on their personal accounts.<\/p>\n

Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.<\/em>\u2800

\n\u201cAs UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare.
