What goes around, comes around and for some time now the return of low rise jeans has been looming thanks to Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski. I, for one have been dreading the late ’90s trend but in Irina Shayk’s latest appearance around New York City, she may have just convinced me to give the tricky trend a go.<\/p>\n

In the streets of Manhattan, Shayk paired distressed low-rise jeans with a black strapless corset courtesy of Are You Am I<\/a> and Both combat boots<\/a>. At times she was also seen wearing a black leather over shirt and white chain-strap bag. While the amalgamation of so many ’90s style cues could prove to be polarizing, somehow the model makes it look effortless.<\/p>\n

In an era where stomachs are the new faces of celebrities<\/a>, for us mere fashion mortals, low rise jeans are often unflattering. But the addition of the corset accentuates all the right areas. It’s a yes from me. She was later spotted with daughter Lea – the most chic daycare pick up I’ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

While the model has a certain knack for turning heads, she was thrust into the spotlight for a much more pressing reason than her latest street style.<\/p>\n

Last week paparazzi snaps emerged of Shayk and a recently divorced Kanye West spending time together in France. \u201cThey were taking pictures of each other and the sculptures,\u201d an eyewitness told E! News<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThey looked incredibly happy and relaxed. It was just them and a few friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>reported that the rumored couple then stayed together for three nights across West’s birthday at a luxury villa.<\/p>\n

Overnight Shayk was spotted with ex Bradley Cooper in NYC where the former couple were seen spending time with their daughter. Shayk of course was impeccably dressed in a printed tee, black tailored pants and a black chained bag.<\/p>\n
