And the category is fashion: A curated selection of works that exude style.<\/em> In this week’s installment of The Artwork Evoking Our Emotions,<\/em><\/a> we’re taking a look at the connection between art and fashion. From figurative paintings, to fashion photography and collage, we see a natural synergy that happens when these works of art take on stylish undertones. We’ve seen the world of fashion and art collide time and time again with collaborations like Pyer Moss<\/a> and Derrick Adams<\/a>, Louis Vuitton and Richard Prince<\/a>, Raf Simons<\/a> and Sterling Ruby<\/a>, and Dior and Kaws<\/a>. We’ve also seen artist and their work be seemingly and subliminally be inspired by fashion through the work of titans like Kerry James Marshall or Cindy Sherman. These works take on stylish attributes and become unintentional fashion editorials.<\/p>\n
