June 9, 2021:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Most of us spiraled in some way during the COVID-19 pandemic-induced lockdown. While we were making sourdough bread, learning to knit, and watching TikTok, Keira Knightley was keeping it together. Instead of transitioning into the <\/span>no makeup<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and sweatpants lifestyle during the\u00a0<\/span>worst of quarantine<\/span><\/a>, she found herself in head-to-toe Chanel\u2014lipstick included.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We have a trampoline in our garden, and we decided we were only allowed to wear dresses on it,” Knightley recalled in a recent interview with\u00a0<\/em><\/span>Harper’s Bazaar UK<\/a><\/em>.<\/em> “I put on red lipstick<\/a> every day, and every bit of Chanel that I have in my cupboard, and my daughter Edie had Chanel ribbons plaited into her hair and fairy wings.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She continued, “I thought, ‘What is the point of these lovely things sitting in the wardrobe when it feels quite apocalyptic and scary outside?'” Knightley shared. She even went so far as to say that she wouldn’t let her husband join in the festivities unless he was wearing one of his “array of peacock-colored Gucci suits.”<\/p>\n

For some background, Knightley’s relationship with Chanel goes back over a decade. She starred in campaigns for the luxury fashion house starting in 2007 and has been photographed on the red carpet in clothes and makeup from the brand for years. A Google search query for “Kiera Knightley Red Lipstick” yields nearly six million results specifying the exact lipsticks she’s debuted through the years.<\/p>\n

The actress’s lockdown may have looked much different than most of the world, but it sure would be nice if we all had a hearty supply of Chanel in our closets and all of the label’s luxe lipsticks in our vanity. So, Knightley, kindly let us know if you’re looking to adopt?<\/p>\n
