They take inspiration from how the French hold baguettes under their arms, hence the iconic and unforgettable name that’s no stranger to the mouths (or closets) of luxury fashion aficionados.<\/span><\/p>\n

The media-famous handbag was a staple in the wardrobes of 2000s It-girls, like Paris Hilton, J. Lo, and the fictional-yet-fabulous fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw. Now, the accessory is now making a resurgence, thanks to its fresh, updated colorways and appreciation from Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin, among other celebrities. They’re popularizing the bag just as the early aughts stylish crowd did.<\/p>\n

The Baguette’s latest rendition is part of a collaboration with artist Sarah Coleman entitled ” FF <\/span>Vertigo<\/span><\/a>.” It fuses a free-spirited 70s aesthetic with\u00a0<\/span>90s streetwear<\/span><\/a>. So suppose you longed to get your hands on the original 90s Baguette but haven’t had any luck. In that case, nows your chance to score one without having to scour vintage websites for hours on end. The new collab, a part of the Fendi summer 2021 capsule, nods to the authentic 1997 Baguette with various designs and sizes inspired by the original designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

To commemorate the launch of the new Baguette bag, Fendi has unveiled a series of videos called “<\/span>Baguette Walk<\/span><\/a>.” The videos star French actress Ana Girardot, Spanish creative Mar\u00eda Bernad, and models Nini Li-Yun, and Fatdwa Diawara. The fashionable crew takes to the\u00a0<\/span>City of Lights<\/span><\/a>, exploring all it has to offer, with their favorite Baguette bags on their arms, of course. Consider this the perfect dose of style inspiration for your next Euro trip.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of our favorite new take on the Fendi Baguette is the warped interpretation of the label’s signature FF motif. Coleman designed the modern new logo, officially dubbed the “FF Vertigo print,” and the graphic print is available in the classic jacquard fabric, as well as two super-saturated hues. But if you want something that feels less current and more retro, it’s also available in pink lizard, shiny pink sequins, and floral embroideries.<\/p>\n
