June 4, 2021:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Ariana Grande is incredible at<\/span>\u00a0keeping things secret<\/span><\/a>, but the Internet is buzzing over reports that the 27-year-old might be the next celebrity to launch a makeup line.<\/span><\/p>\n

The popular makeup industry-focused Instagram account<\/span>\u00a0Trendmood<\/span><\/a> (who’s always two steps ahead of everyone regarding upcoming beauty news and launches) revealed the news yesterday, June 3. Allegedly, Grande has applied for a trademark for her own beauty line, entitled “God Is A Woman.” The name is a little on the nose, considering that’s also the name of one of her top tracks, but we’ll let her have it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But this is all not to say that Grande doesn’t already have a beauty empire. Just look at her successful line of perfumes. There’s Frankie, the gender-neutral fragrance named after her older brother, and Cloud, a cult-favorite scent sold at Ulta Beauty that both die-hard fans and perfume experts rave about.<\/p>\n

In a world where it feels like every single<\/span>\u00a0celebrity has a makeup line<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 Grande’s not even the first celebrity to be rumored to be<\/span>\u00a0entering the space<\/span><\/a>\u00a0this\u00a0<\/span>week<\/span><\/em> alone. All eyes are also on Harry Styles, who’s been named the director of the newly registered company, “Pleased As Holdings,” which will offer fragrances and cosmetics.<\/span><\/p>\n

All things considered, we’re not going to let our hopes get too high just yet. After all, Grande has bamboozled us before. Back in 2019, she<\/span>\u00a0filed a trademark<\/span><\/a> for products including fragrances, body lotions, bath gels, body scrubs, and body mists under the name “Thank U, Next,” which became one product:<\/span>\u00a0Thank U, Next Fragrance<\/span><\/a>. Judging from that experience, it feels more likely than not that God Is A Woman is another fragrance rather than an entire body care line. But hey, we can only wait and see.<\/span><\/p>\n
