May 27, 2021<\/span><\/strong>: Kim Kardashian<\/a> is back at it again, breaking the internet, that is. This time instead of a sultry photo shoot, the reality star’s shapewear line, Skims<\/a>, is the root of the commotion, all because of its first-ever sale. As part of the savings event, unveiled on Thursday, May 27, the brand is offering some of its most sought-after pieces, including everything from bustiers and waist trainers to comfy robes and slippers for a whopping half off retail price.<\/span><\/p>\n

FYI, this isn’t your average Memorial Day sale. You see, the SKIMS site requires each shopper to enter their email address to shop the wide range of discount products (which, yes includes its newly launched jacquard collection). However, today, many fans were met with never ending loading screens and site crashes due to a high demand of website visitors. The few lucky enough to make it past these walls and get in the sale are, naturally, swiping everything from the virtual shelves.<\/p>\n

“I know many of you are having issues with the @skims site right now,” Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story in response to the crashes. “We are experiencing our highest traffic day in history, even more traffic than Black Friday but we are working quickly to have it resolved ASAP. Thank you so much for your patience!”<\/p>\n
