Our favorite rambunctious trio at\u00a0<\/span>Scarlet<\/span><\/em>\u00a0magazine<\/a> is back for the last time. <\/span>The Bold Type<\/span><\/em>\u00a0hit our screens in 2017 glamorizing the woes of building a work-life balance following Sutton, Kat, and\u00a0<\/span>Tiny<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Jane. Freeform\u2019s<\/em> popular fashion magazine television series was inspired by the life of former Cosmopolitan<\/em><\/a> editor-in-chief Joanna Coles. Four seasons later, it has explored racism, political issues<\/a>, and sexual assault<\/a> awareness. The popular series experienced an abrupt halt this past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many shows, The Bold Type<\/em> cut its season four short leaving many fans wondering what\u2019s next for the <\/span>Scarlet<\/span><\/em>\u00a0girls.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I was really surprised and pleased [it was ending] because the show had kind of gotten shut down due to COVID last year, right?” Nikohl Boosheri, who plays Adena, tells\u00a0<\/span>Digital Spy<\/span><\/em><\/a> in an interview. “They got shut down in March, and didn’t get to finish, I think, their last two episodes and completely wrap it up. “So we didn’t know if the show was coming back if we were going to be able to finish those last two, and what the deal was. Just the fact that everyone came together to wrap this up in a way that made sense and that fans would be happy with, as well as considering the circumstances we’re under \u2013 I feel so lucky to have been through that.”<\/span><\/p>\n
