It\u2019s not a show where audiences look at the shelves of beloved characters to see what products they\u2019re using, yet when <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/beauty-odyssey-loccitane-bath-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">L\u2019Occitane<\/a> made an appearance in this week\u2019s episode, it became a talking point in the series in a way we never saw coming. Just FYI\u2014spoilers ahead: If you haven\u2019t watched Season 4 yet, tread carefully.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>After years in captivity, June (played by <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/elisabeth-moss-is-dating-somebody-and-being-extremely-cagey-about-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elisabeth Moss<\/a>) has finally escaped Gilead and managed to seek asylum in Canada. There, her husband Luke, who escaped to Canada in the show&#8217;s first season, has been waiting for her. June still wants to rescue her daughter, Hannah, from the clutches of Gilead, despite Hannah not even recognizing her own mother anymore after she was ripped from her arms and is now living with a commander\u2019s family.\u00a0June&#8217;s escape has been a long time coming\u2014literally since season one, episode one\u2014and understandably, June is\u2026 well, June is a mess.<\/p>\n<p>Years of being viewed as a human clown car will do that to you, and adjusting to life outside of Gilead is not easy for her. In a show full of obvious musical clues, June&#8217;s arrival at the Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto set to Etta James&#8217; &#8216;At Last&#8217; is a bit on the nose, but we digress. The Fairmont is a nice hotel and much nicer than the digs June has been staying in and featuring luxury products like L&#8217;Occitane seals the deal.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s even a bigger endorsement for the brand when June is advised, &#8220;Make sure you grab some of those really nice moisturizers from the hotel and bring them home,&#8221; something we would all do in the case of seeing a brand like L&#8217;Occitane on the shelf.
