Since the announcement of Sex and the City\u00a0<\/em>reboot<\/a>, “And Just Like That,” rumors have run rife. We’re here to put one of those to rest after HBO Max announced Chris Noth would indeed reprise his role of Mr. Big. As reported by Deadline<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>executive producer Michael Patrick King has said, \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be working with Chris again on And Just Like That.\u2026<\/em> How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex and the City story without our Mr. Big?\u201d<\/p>\n

It comes after\u00a0Page Six<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>inaccurately reported that Mr. Big would not return to the screen in February. Noth quickly responded to the news at the time to tease his potential return on Instagram writing, \u201cWell if Page Six says it \u2026 It must be true,\u201d along with a telltale winky-face emoji.<\/p>\n

In addition to Mr. Big’s return, John Corbett’s character and Carrie’s former boyfriend, Aidan, will return to the reboot.<\/a> Do we sense a love triangle occurring?<\/p>\n

Just recently Noth reflected on his favorite scenes<\/a> from the original series. And it’s not what you think. According to the actor one scene comes from the 1998 episode “The Drought.”<\/p>\n

Noth appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em> and revealed it is where Carrie passes wind while they\u2019re in bed. Mortified, she buries herself under the sheets, with Big replying, \u201cIt might be worse under there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI insisted on doing the sound to get it right,\u201d Noth said, \u201cbecause I\u2019m an expert in farts.\u201d<\/p>\n

A statement from HBO Max says<\/a>, \u201cThe new Max Original series is based on the book, Sex and the City, by Candice Bushnell and the original TV series created by Darren Star.
