Chrissy Teigen<\/a> seems to be facing consequences for hateful messages she posted on social media years ago. On Tuesday, Page Six reported<\/a> that department store chain Bloomingdale\u2019s had walked away from a deal with the model and Twitter celeb<\/a> at the last minute due to allegations of cyberbullying made by Courtney Stodden.<\/p>\n

Other retailers appeared to be distancing themselves from Teigen as well. Macy\u2019s, owned by the same parent company as Bloomingdale\u2019s, seems to have pulled her line of cookware<\/a> from its website. Target, meanwhile, claims to have ended its partnership with Teigen months ago, according to Newsweek<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The fallout comes after The Daily Beast<\/em> published a revealing interview<\/a> with Stodden, who now identifies as non-binary and uses they\/them pronouns. The 26-year-old first entered the public consciousness a decade ago when, at the age of 16, they married their 51-year-old acting coach and character Doug Hutchinson. Perversely, it was 16-year-old Stodden who became a media punching bag. Their over-sexualized appearance was ridiculed on national television by no less an authority than Anderson Cooper.<\/p>\n

Teigen apparently joined in the pile-on. In March, after Teigen briefly deleted<\/a> her notorious<\/a> Twitter account, Stodden called her out for hypocrisy. \u201cSeeing Chrissy Teigen leave Twitter over negativity and bullying was\u2026I just couldn\u2019t believe how hypocritical it was,\u201d Stodden later told TMZ<\/a>. \u201cBecause I experienced so much harassment and bullying from her when I was just 16 years old\u2026at a time when I needed help, like I was being abused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stodden shared screenshots of some of Teigen\u2019s 2011 tweets about her: \u201c.@CourtneyStodden my Friday fantasy: you. dirt nap. mmmmmm baby.\u201d In The Daily Beast <\/em>interview, Stodden claims that Teigen also messaged her privately. \u201cShe wouldn\u2019t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take \u2018a dirt nap\u2019 but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, \u2018I can\u2019t wait for you to die.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
