But for Margot Robbie \u2013 and a slew of Australian talent \u2013 it\u2019s hard to really get excited about anything when you know the realities of what is happening on home soil.<\/p>\n<p>Just hours before one of the biggest nights of her life (Robbie is nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in her new film, <em>Bombshell<\/em>), the actor posted an emotional plea to her fans to donate to the relief organizations helping to fight the deadly bushfires in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGuys I don\u2019t normally do this but I wanted to share some personal photos from my childhood,\u201d the 29-year-old actress said in an Instagram post as she shared photos of herself as a child on her farm in Queensland. \u201cI\u2019m sure you\u2019re all aware of what\u2019s happening in Australia at the moment with the fires. For whatever you were going to spend on your next cup of coffee, even a dollar would help.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, tearfully, \u201cIt\u2019s so needed right now. Please, please if you haven\u2019t already donated, please do and let\u2019s give future generations the kind of childhood that I was so lucky to have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time of publication, 23 people have lost their lives in fires across the country and 500 million animals have been killed.
