As COVID-19 restrictions<\/a> around loosen up around travel and many art<\/a> institutions around the world start to slowly open their doors, art enthusiasts \u2014 it’s us, we’re the enthusiasts \u2014 are excited to visit their favorite galleries and spaces IRL. While <\/span>2020 saw an influx in virtual online viewing rooms (and while that structure is necessary for safety and will continue in some aspect), art is most powerful when seen in person. It’s a completely visceral experience: Smelling the acrylic paint, seeing your reflection bounce off a bronze sculpture, hearing the chatter of other viewers as they decipher an abstract piece \u2014 it’s a feeling the art world is missing. And now that Frieze Art Fair<\/a> back and currently underway,\u00a0 we’re ready to stomp our Margiela Tabi boots<\/a> up and down gallery corridors again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
