The brand has been invited by The Chambre Syndicale\/F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de la Haute Couture et de la Mode to show on the <a href=\"https:\/\/fhcm.paris\/en\/2021\/05\/11\/16213\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Haute Couture Fall 2021 schedule<\/a> as a guest member. <em>Wow.<\/em> This is a huge honor bestowed to a brand and it&#8217;s also important to note<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> this makes Pyer Moss&#8217; designer and founder, Kerby Jean Raymond ,the <em>first<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/christopher-john-rogers-costume-institute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black American designer<\/a> invited by the French fashion governing body to show officially on the Haute Couture calendar. <em>Major.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">News comes straight from French fashion journalist, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/melody___t\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">M\u00e9lody Thomas<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. I am like this:\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The GIF sums up our sentiments exactly \u2014 we can\u2019t wait!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pyer Moss is already set to return to the runway, presenting <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/pyer-moss-september-2021-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Collection 4<\/a> this September, following the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/met-gala-2021-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Met Gala<\/a> in New York. The brand is known for its powerful imagery and theatrical presentation so we can\u2019t wait to see how Kerby and the atelier amp it up even more. The Spring\/Summer 2020 show, Lesson Three, titled \u201cSister\u201d was a major feat of showmanship. Taking up space at \u2018Kings Theater\u2019 presenting a musical of sorts in homage to the \u2018Godmother of Rock N\u2019 Roll\u2019 Sister Rosetta Thorpe and Black women in music, this was the fashion show experience at its peak. The collection prior to that took place at the Weeksville Heritage Center. Weeksville, founded by James Weeks in 1838, is one of the country\u2019s first free-Black communities. Using such an historic location, Kerby presented a collection full of impact with garments adorned with the work of world-renowned artist <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/derrickadamsny\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Derrick Adams<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
