So long, in fact, that we were beginning to wonder whether our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TzcpN8zQcPc\" target=\"_blank\">Christmas lights<\/a> might be broken. But today, Netflix dropped another teaser for the upcoming fourth season of <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/rain-on-me-video-makeup-looks\/\">sci-fi<\/a> sensation <em>Stranger Things<\/em>, and we\u2019re hard at work trying to decode every image from the cryptic clip.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Stranger Things 4 | Eleven, are you listening? | Netflix\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ILwLN6hV-X8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The teaser shows a bunch of kids in hospital gowns\u2014reminiscent of the one Eleven (<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/millie-bobby-brown-pink-and-purple-eyeshadow\/\">Millie Bobby Brown<\/a>) wore in Season 1\u2019s flashbacks\u2014playing in a familiar fluorescent-lit facility. A clock ticks as sinister music plays, and we see someone who appears to be Matthew Modine\u2019s mad scientist Martin Brenner enter from behind, bidding the kiddies a good morning and promising something \u201cvery special\u201d that he\u2019s planned for them.<\/p>\n<p>The camera then pans to a door with the number 11 on it, and we hear what we can assume is Brown\u2019s character panting as the soundtrack builds in intensity. Then the screen cuts to black and we hear Modine: \u201cEleven? Are you listening?\u201d The final image is of Brown\u2019s eyes flying open, her face lit by the same sickly green fluorescent light as the other children.<\/p>\n<p>So, what can we make of all this? Well, it\u2019s safe to assume that the new season will further explore Eleven\u2019s backstory. In the show\u2019s second season, we learned that she wasn\u2019t the only psychically gifted kid in Brenner\u2019s \u201ccare.\u201d It\u2019s possible we\u2019ll find out what happened to Eleven\u2019s fellow super-tots in flashbacks\u2014which is what this teaser appears to be. Or we could meet some in the present\u2014or, you know, the 80s, the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/emporio-armani-fw21\/\">retro dayglo era<\/a> in which the show takes place. It wouldn\u2019t be the first time. In Season 2, Eleven traveled to Chicago where she met Kali (Linnea Berthelsen), aka Eight, a tween with power to project images into people\u2019s minds. Who knows how many more of these brats might be out there? Or what kind of creepy crawly monsters might be after them!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":29097,"featured_media":22108,"template":"","format":"standard","categories":[38,16],"yoast_head":"<!--
