We can definitely say Willow Smith gets it from her mama. The 20-year-old rising rock star paid homage to Jada Pinkett-Smith<\/a> during their Mother\u2019s Day special episode of\u00a0<\/span>Red Table Talk<\/span><\/em>. The \u201cTransparent Soul\u201d singer<\/a> got Pinkett-Smith\u2019s nu-metal band Wicked Wisdom back together. On Wednesday\u2019s episode, Smith, who\u2019s currently working on a punk album<\/a> of her own, explained how she\u2019s always been inspired by the time she spent on tour with her mom as a kid. \u201cEvery night, I wanted to ride on the security guard\u2019s shoulders and watch her perform,\u201d she says. \u201cShe was a rock star, and I was living for Wicked Wisdom. I felt like it was only right for me to pay homage to a time in her life because she showed me what woman-ing up really is about, so for Mother\u2019s Day, I\u2019m about to reunite with some of my mom\u2019s old band members to do one of my favorite songs by my mom, which is called \u2018Bleed All Over Me.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
