Halle Berry<\/a> has become known as something of a red carpet doyenne, serving iconic looks each and every time she steps in front of the cameras. Of course, who could forget the red semi-sheer Elie Saab<\/a> gown she donned back in 2002 for her first Oscars<\/a> win, or the frothy chiffon Marchesa<\/a> she wore to the ceremony in 2011. While Berry has always been one to take risks when it comes to fashion and beauty, her latest Oscars look<\/a> has unfortunately drawn some criticism.<\/p>\n

The star revealed a new asymmetrical blunt bob at this week’s awards, with short bangs chopped in to boot. It was a fresh change for the actor, who had been wearing longer locks right up until the hours before the Oscars. She had hinted at a hair transformation in the lead up to the evening, posting a picture of her lopped-off lengths lying on the floor.<\/p>\n
