FX\u2019s groundbreaking drama about trans and queer people of color in New York\u2019s 1980s ballroom scene returns for its <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/pose-season-three-trailer\/\">third and final season<\/a> on May 2, and the network is marking the occasion with The Final Pose \u2013 An Exhibition Ball. Hosted by the show\u2019s runway choreographer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/simplytwiggy\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Twiggy Pucci Gar\u00e7on<\/a>, the two-hour virtual event kicks off at 8pm ET and will stream live across FX\u2019s Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channels.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Elated to produce <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TheFinalPose?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">#TheFinalPose<\/a>, a virtual exhibition ball streaming live this Sunday at 8pm ET\/ 5pm PT on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. As the AIDS crisis continues to devastate New York&#8217;s LGBTQ community, Blanca (Mj Rodriguez) and Co. continue to explore opportunities in the wider world while dominating the ball scene. If the trailer is any indication, there\u2019s gonna be a lot of fist pumping, pearl clutching, and ugly crying in store.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pose | Season 3: Official Trailer | FX\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uZ19E-ArqRc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The show\u2019s seemingly abrupt ending may have come as something of a shock to fans of the scrappy House of Evangelista, but at a press conference this week, series creator and showrunner Steven Canals insisted that he and his fellow writers have told the story they set out to tell, and that <em>Pose<\/em> is going out on its own terms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a true lover of television, one of the things that has always frustrated me is when I am tuning in to a season of television and I can tell that the season just feels like filler,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.out.com\/television\/2021\/4\/27\/why-fxs-pose-ending-after-its-third-season\" target=\"_blank\">he said<\/a>. \u201cAnd I think that the last thing I wanted to do to our audience was to create narrative simply for the sake of creating narrative, with no real intention. So, I could see there was the ending and I think we all agree that it just made sense for us to land the plane comfortably, as opposed to continue to give an audience story that just simply didn&#8217;t have any really core intention or a real thrust towards
