Dua Lipa<\/a> decided that one gown wasn’t really enough for Elton John<\/a>‘s infamous Oscars<\/a> soiree. Instead, the singer opted to double down and serve up a much-needed dose of glamour with not one, but two high octane gowns for the 2021 Oscars viewing party.<\/p>\n

The first saw Lipa step on to the stage in a figure-hugging velvet ball gown that ballooned into a full, poufy skirt mid-thigh. She wore minimal jewelry save for a few rings and a detailed statement necklace below the neck of the dress. And of course, ever the beauty icon, Lipa’s makeup was fresh and luminous with a flawless complexion, bronze smoky eye, glossy lips and smooth, sleek locks.<\/p>\n

The Future Nostalgia<\/em> singer further cemented her place as one of the industry’s most lauded style muses by slipping into another gown during her performance \u2013 a Balenciaga<\/a> metallic ensemble from the house’s Fall 2021 collection. The modern dress continued Lipa’s high neck theme but was decidedly sexier, featuring sheer fabric with dozens of sequins and rhinestones dripping down Lipa’s body and flowing out to her ankles like dazzling icicles.<\/p>\n
